Dynasty is not

Due to the expense of the Amsterdam event we can not see laying out the cash to play in an event that would pay us only 2000 euros if we win. The Team at this point does not intend to participate in anymore Euro X-Ball events.

Oh that accident! Well I have good news for you!
After I rescued the chicken from your *cough* "Caring Hands" *cough* (details witheld to protect the minors here) we handled it to the animal rescue people. They say despite the shock and the initial bad condition its getting better...

No Dynasty at Euro X-Ball then

I can see the time coming when promoters will pay for select teams to attend, like they do for golf pros.

If you want coverage in the media, you have to have the media draw.

The average Div 1 team doesnt provide that, but Dynasty does.

Are they ready to lay down a few grand to make it worth Dynastys time?

I dont think so, but it will happen eventually IMO

Evil Shark's will be "keelling kants" at the top of the world. Might take a stroll over to Greenland for a spot of seal clubbing (seeing as the booze is so expensive).

I had been reliably informed that the NPPl was running at a huge loss at the moment. With the expensive venues in the public eye, and large cash prizes. They obviously are willing to make a short term loss in order to be the last ones standing in the war over attendences with the PSP. When they are the last series in the US, then they will start to make large profits. The MS is the only series in Europe that is worth attending, and as such there is no need for them to try and entice teams in with thee lure of large cash prizes.

With the rumour of a rival promoter in the UK running an event at the end of the season though, maybe the event organisers are attempting to push the boat out a little further, and attract teams away from the MS...;) Maybe this will force the MS to evaluate and offer a larger incentive for teams to play their events.

How? Doubling the entry fee? Doubling the teams in attendance? Sponsorship? TV? :D

No, I think what Sam was aiming at is that the PSP teams will then play the NPPL too. More teams entering the tournament = more profits. Simple as that

Chicken?

Homo................That is definitely not the issue. The issue is 14 tickets @ $1300, 7 rooms @ $130+ for 6 nights, Feeding the 13 players and a coach, 2-3 vehicles averaging $700. On top of
that the priceless winners check of 2000 euros (which divided up makes about 140 euro a piece) We need to give the players back something. In Germany we took home 13000 euros. That is something that the players want. It makes it worth their week of travel. Plus we only had to take 8 guys, big difference.

As far as chicken.....why don't you let us have your spot in EXL and will call it even. lol

Yo Rodders, I was kiddin mate, I know only too well the economics of running a team and how much it all costs :(

As for having our spot on the EXL?
The only reason I will keep playing the EXL is because I honestly believe the format is the future for our sport and I wanna beat the Tigers and allow normal service to resume.
Outside of that, we have nothing to play for except for bridesmaid slots alongside the Russkies since the televised finals have now been cancelled.
That said, I think I might let you have our slot (for a small price) so that we (us Euroepans) could watch the homos from SC get it up the ass from our Muscovite cousins :)
