How about new players or inexperienced, it just sounds like 30 year old men living in their mums basement playing counter-strike all day and screaming NOOB U NOOB im gonna tell the admin*nerdyvoice* naaaaa ur a newb

I like ROOKIEs or learning players, OR pre ametur or conference players last two are a bit mean!!
Can't call them noobs............. it's what online gamers call people with a sex life.
Why call them anything? the only time it's used is when you're insulting someone anyway...... if I'm talking to a new player I'll call them a novice or just new to paintball. Yes, they make mistakes, but don't we all.... and so what? I once watched three "newbies" playing against an experienced team..... the new lads were mauled as the spectators chanted "punter..... punter....." and newbie"..... the new players were only twelve and thirteen, they'd been invited by a more experienced player. They didn't come back, just assumed all paintballers were w@nkers. I've played aginst newbies this year that hadn't held a marker before.... beat them easily, now they are wiping and playing on at a proffesional level. What goes around comes around
