Motorola fields? I didn't see anything about that?
It's relatively easy to make sup'air bunkers look like anything you want so why not have a Motorola Field that finals could be played on. Surely that's a better way of advertising than just sticking posters up...

Baller A - which fields the final one?
Baller B - the s****y new Motorola one over there... Hmmmm that reminds me, i need a new phone.

See:D ;)

what exactly apart from the name are motorola going to be giving to the sport as a whole?
If you look on their websiteThere is stuff about another sport they sponsor, sailing, on the front page. I know that in its self is not much but it show that at a first glance they do promote the events they sponsor. But the main thing is that it will give the PA the finance and possibley access to contacts/resourses to promote paintball to the masses.

Yeah, i know. I was just wondering whether you had heard anything or whether it was just speculation.

...no plans to make bunkers that look like mobile phones :) interesting idea tho...

Having a global name like Motorola does give us a hell of a lot of credibility in the non-paintball media, which is what we're after. This is a big step for UK paintball at all levels. This is our "moon landing" ;) but, like the Sky Sports deal, it's only the beginning of what's going to be a long and hard journey.

The PA has accomplished a lot in a very short space of time and full credit must go to all the boys & girls who've put so much into it already. What we do now is keep building on the success and popularity of the Motorola PA National League to highlight paintball at all levels, but especially to gain recognition for the commitment of the teams taking part.

I'm personally am going to get a real kick out of announcing the winners of the title "Motorola League National Champions" and everyone who's a part of the whole concept should be equally proud, the playes, the managers, the referees and admin staff.

Words of Wisdom from the Dark Side

Just like to point out that the although the PA have bagged Motorola and Sky. We are now moving into the next stage of events.
This is going to be the hardest stage of all
KEEPING THE SPONSORSHIP DEAL
Takes a lot of work to get the deal,
but takes even more to keep it.
It is so easy for a sponsor to turn round
and withdraw from the deal.
We as players must not give them any oppurtunity to do this
e.g.
it's taken UK American Football over 10 years
to turn the corner and re-establish itself after
losing sponsorship deals with Budwieser and Coca-Cola.

This is not a proficy of Doom
Just a word of Warning
As we will be judged by our actions
The PA have done thier job as promised so far
We as players must continue to do ours
on and off the field

YOU ARE SO RIGHT

Everyone has got to pull together and work hard to keep the sport going up and up!

Put your passion on the field into your local media, tell your friends.
Do what you can, if everyone does a little..well...you know the rest!

You have got hardballer's backing all the way HATTS!

Peace out...;)
