The Motorola Paintball Association National League

We are pleased to announce that international communications company Motorola are to become the main sponsor of the Paintball Association League 2004. After lengthy discussions, Motorola have committed their support to the PA League and we look forward to working with such a prestigious company.

The league is now officially renamed as The Motorola Paintball Association National League with immediate effect.

The fact that a major company from outside the paintball industry has pledged support to the UK’s National Paintball League is a huge step forward in the external recognition of the sport and has tremendous implications for paintball in this country. Official press releases from both Motorola and the Paintball Association to follow soon.

Jesus christ, that's awesome... I wonder to what degree they'll be supporting/promoting the league? This could be the start of some big things....

Interested to see whether the Motorola Field will have bunkers shaped like mobiles... Or whether they'll just have 'normal' bunkers with Motorola Logos?

cool does that mean the feld ultimates will have the big headphone mics like the coaches in the NFL have? They are done by motorola. Or maybe every judge can have something like that so it easier for one judge to call another judge in for a check on the other side of the field!

what exactly apart from the name are motorola going to be giving to the sport as a whole?

i dnt imagin they will have paintball related adverts would they? and as far as external promotion how will this supposedly happen?

i think its great and dont mean to put a damper on anythng but am intrigued
