due to reading fatbeerboys previous thread elsewhere on the tournament forums,in regards to non use of clear hoppers at the midlandmasters and pa league are ther ANY tourneys that will let you use them!
Due to the fact this sport is expensive enough to start, play and continue these rulings to ban certain pieces of legimate pieces of equipment (not cheater boards and software upgrades i hasten to add) just because of the rules followed by tournaments over the pond that the majority of us dont or never will play need to be followed by the uk scene.
My point is i have a reloader b in clear which cost me over a hundred quid which now i carnt use in the tourney scene or sell on these boards to anyother tourney player or sell at a great loss to a rec baller who no disrespect wants a hopper thats nearly the third of the price of his marker.
So will organizers reimburse me some of my money to buy a LEGAL HOPPER or will they do rentals on the day!!!
i am a very lucky person who can afford to play and buy new stuff as i have 3 more reloader bs in my kitbag but what about all these players who carnt.
Will they stop play for a month or two just to get the right kit to play their local tourney or will the say sod it and sell up.
Could event organizers remember we as a paintball nation dont have the limitless sponsorship funds of our american/european/soviet counterparts or our own top uk teams just to be able to throw away some outdated bit of kit thats not this week legal, and remember the little people who work their tits off just so they have that cash to play the sport we all love whether it be every week or once a month without the fear of more expense
thanks for letting me rant and all comments are mine and mine alone and do not reflect on us as a team or any of our sponsors present or future
