No excuses are good enough as I see it, then you let the series know in advance and try and get them to fix it scheduling-wise and ranking-wise - to me you are letting all the teams in your division down, not only f*cking it up for the teams getting a forfeit (and less games) but every single other team in position of missing sunday club and valuable points because others are handed over free wins !

I am simply P*SSED !
Freddie - just as a matter of point, Cynergy did just that and let the Millennium know as early as possible. I specifically asked that the people in charge of scheduling were notified of our absense ASAP so no teams would miss games because of us.

Easiest way should be deleting all points for a team that´s not playing the whole series or? This should be punishment enough. And the teams that put all that effort + money into the series would not be punished that much (missing games, other teams getting free points etc.)...

Think the MS will handle this next season. They will have an overview of the missing teams each event and will find a solution - I think (hope).

Agreed 100 % Lex !

BUT that will probably not happend with the Millennium, they will have a chance now of collecting and reselling these spots I guess instead of meeting the teams that actually supported them throughout the entire season ! :(

We will see....

Sh!t happens - so the teams didnt turn up, where is the root cause of the problem really coming from?

Paintball is a mess, by now I would have thought everyone knew to expect a bumpy road

I wonder if you are the kinda girl that if her boyfriend cheated on her would keep taking him back again and again "because you love him" or "he is a nice guy really".

Then again, there are plenty of guys in the world but only one beloved Millenium Series, so I guess my analogy isn't quite perfect.

I cant see how a team turning up makes you less likely to make sunday club, if the team is a no show everyone in the group gets a 4-0 so unless you knew you were going to beat one of these no show teams by more points than the other teams in your group it doesn’t really matter.

What could the series do if they were informed in advance, move all the no show teams into one group and re set the draw? The draw is done on previous events standings and im sure just as many teams would complain if this was changed.

It sucks that teams cant make it or choose not to play but I was under the impression that they had paid for the season in advance (i know the other locked divs have) I cant see what more the millennium can do if a team chooses not to play I guess its up to them and you would have to hope there low scores will get them demoted and thus solve the problem.

Agree with hankin. IF your are deserving and GOOD enough to make sunday club at the event then you will go through. Reagrdless of whether or not another team may hav got an easy win, if you are better than the team in question, your results should reflect this. Its too easy to blame another teams easy win on a poor performance by yourseves or not getting through to sunday. Train harder and next time you might get through. I can understand for teams that are on the boarderline of making sunday or not that this will affect them, but freddie when your team places 28th and only top 16 go through, you can't/shouldn't blame the series. Its down to your team and you to get the wins and is no one elses fault.

Rankingwise every single point scored the entire season matters - you should all know that by now!

If anyone knows me and my take on this sport you would know I am NOT only thinking about myself and my own team but every other team out there !

No shows = easy wins = better ranking = teams getting f*cked over in the total ranking!

I´ll stop this now - some of you get it and some of you clearly don´t....
