There was a warning posted at every PB website warning people not to put oil in their fill nipples, because when you fill, the moving air creates heat and can cause the tank to catch fire and release it's pressure, i.e., explode.
ok so strip my air system down and rub all the lube of it right away, dont stand near me when i fill my bottle:D

No but seriously im kind of scared to fill my bottle every time i do it, i odnt no why im just like oh crap i got to fill my bottle again. I dont seem to like compressed air that much

Lol, nothing to worry about really, unless you're actually dripping oil into the fill nipple (at the time when the warning was issued, it had apparently become common practice for folks who didn't know any better to drip oil into their fill nipple to prevent it from leaking). The oil causes friction when filling, which produces heat, which can make your tank catch on fire and blow up. The lube on your internal seals is there for a reason though, nothing to worry about.

The problem is that oil at high pressure will explode like diesel.
It's pretty rare, but there are specific greases that can be used, like angel extreme grease that are fine.

I have o-rings suitable, but they're bitches to put on without a spreader. If you send me the check valve, i'll change the o-ring for you. Or if you feel ok doing it yourself i'll send you a couple of o-rings.
