As for the format - maybe that's part of the problem - are you trying too many different ones? Now, I'm not trying to teach my Granny etc. - but maybe if you concentrated on just one format - beat them all at that - then move up/over?
After all - 'interesting' Mansell didn't drive F1, Indy and F3 all at the same time.
Thing is - which one do you choose? Whichever it is - then maybe the UK should adopt it. IMHO I think the current 7/5 man format is stale. We've been playing it for years - and still get it handed to us when we go abroad. I think of it as a stop gap between tourney and woods.
I know 'fight club' is trying to be different - but as that is invite only or only friends of certain people get to play it - it is useless to the rest of the UK.
Do you think that it is time to establish a true X-ball style domestic league? One that has nothing to do with the good old 5/7-man format?
Then again, that brings us back to the expense...
