Rodders,

if you go user settings then edit profile you can get rid of that 'rookie member' thing, saves you having to post a zillion times to change your status while earning the little McDonalds stars.:D

Will Dynasty be playing all the millenniums rodders?

What was the reason that you guys decided to stay clear of the NXL? was it a team decision, or one that chuck made cos he wanted Dynasty to be part of the series that he was creating (S7)?

Whatever it was, glad that we will get to see Dynasty at the millenniums!!

p.s, do the younger guys from the team ever have a look on here? Oli, Ryan or Alex....?

p.s i posted on another forum bout haaving a 2 on 2, and who would you choose to be your partner out of Oli Lang or LaSoya, who would you choose? (think i know what the answer's gonna be!!:p )

Oops! My mistake. I seemed to remember that you guys took that one. I guess between you and me, I'd believe you first. :D

Sjt19,
the reason for Dynasty's movement away from the NXL is not a political decision. Since Chuck has persued his dream in runningevents to their fullest Dynasty has moved its to be a Non-political entity at best. I am now in charge of the team for logistical purposes while Alex handles the team captain role and Ryan takes on the duties of field captain. The team as a whole is owned by each and every member of the team. We make decisions based on a majority usually.
As far as the NXL we decide that to give up any rights to the name we have built........someone is going to have to pay us; and its going to be up front, not a pipe dream that someone is smokin.
Another simple reason is the fact that the NXL gets to tell the team what events they can play in.........its hard enough to stop my guys from going to Mardi Gras you think that if I tell them they can play in 7-8 events they are going to be happy; your crazy.
We are attending 5 Nppls, 6 Millenniums, Aruba, and possibly 5 PSP events if they will let us play. On top of that Stores, Fields, and Teams are borrowing Dynasty players for Am tournaments and Training classes. We have over 20 weeks booked up with
stuff. Its a rock star life for some of these guys. I am just gladto say they are some of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet. They are willing to help anyone at any time when it comes to the sport.

As far as if any of the others would come to this site and post; don't think it will happen any time soon. Ryan is the only one with a computer besides SK. The rest of them are too bright when it come to any thing above the lastest XBOX game.

If i had to pick someone to play 2 on 2 with it would be Oliver.
Chris just does not have the desire anymore. Oliver was puking his guts out this weekend from food poisoning, but he was still playing. He has more heart and desire than anyone in the sport.

I just have to confirm that. I visited the Dynasty/Men "commune" with Magued and the other wild and crazy Swedes. Great hospitality, friendliness, openness, definitely not stuck up and people who obviously eat, sleep and dream the sport. Word.

About Nexus.

Your team need time, and they need to develop and train and grow together without ANY pressure for there first seasons.

As publicity is a good thing beacuse its the reason why sponsors makes it possible for teams like ours to develop, it can also be negative in terms of giving the young players more pressure than they can handle.
I think you would agree with me that nexus didnt even play as good as there lowest level back home in some games at Huntington. I seen the same thing whenever we have played in the states and havent been able to do ****. adding the pressure the Nexus players have had from all the support and publicity its just make sense that the performance is going downhill.
Wouldnt suprise me if you found that the younger players didnt preform 30 % of there capibility at Huntington?

I think Nexus need some peace to go about with there training and Not expect themselfs to be at the podium the first season. If its happens, thats fine if not. Well they knowed that and they will not get frustrated. Dont talk about better performance and setting the record straight for Las Vegas. Its still to soon and IF you play bad again it can affect the moral.
Nexus have the talent and they are young and well sponsored, so its just a matter of time. The only thing that can stop the team to be sucessfull is pressure and frustration over unaccomplished goals.
Anyway in Vegas you will have the support of Joy Division, its also a young team that we field and I feel that both our teams are pretty much on the same stage in life. But the Future looks bright!

Winning in the US with Nexus would have been such a huge upset... but I would have enjoyed it, too. For all that this was the most fair Tournament the US has hosted yet, it belonged to Dynasty. Not for any reason of bias, but because they were the best team left in the NPPL after the split.

Nexus needs time and calluses. It is joining a race that began more than ten years ago. It may be one of the only two contenders in Europe for a finals finish in a NPPL, but there are quite a few American teams in America, too.

I will stop now. Giving perspective-type advice to a legend of paintball and his world class pro-team has me feeling a bit big for my britches.
