As for our games, we did not play well first three games and still won which I suppose says something as the Yank am and novices are soo damn good.
In the dogs game, as has been said, they played better, we had one move up our sleeve that we made at exactly the right time that had Bo diving out to a tape laydown, he got clipped goin in; had he made it, things might have been different because it was such a crucial position for him to take.
But I think in all honesty, they would have still beat us, they frikkin rocked, and as somebody suggested earlier, the team learnt sooo much from just that one game.
We got Image and BE All Stars for our first two games which basically determine whether or not we get thru to the Sunday club, they are gonna be two really tough games, we'll see it how it goes.
On a side note, some guy comes up to me yesterday, says 'Hi Pete', I am thinking to myself, he knows me but I can't place him; turns out to be none other than Chris Raehl..........
Well, all I need now is Tyger to head on down here and we can have a right ole party
Anyway, I will be callin the Pipes as the day unfolds, our first game is at 3.12 pm your time against Image I think, should be an interesting day for us...it better be a learning day
And by the way Duff / Ant, Ryan Greenspan had a grin from ear to ear when he comes up to me and gleefully tells me about some interview he did for the magazine, wanna tell me about it BEFORE it goes in
