Nexus Egg Wowwwww

Just got an ex nexus egg from tommy gun and was wondering what the hell they do to make them so fast as it is way faster than my standard z board egg which is v fast. Its a beast. It was advertised as with team motors. Are they available to buy or are they somehow suped up.

Not all motors are created equal, although I don't know whether that says more about the motors or the quality control.

As an aside, does anyone know what the motor is in an Egg? Is it easy enough to pick up a more powerful version through electronic stores etc??

Sort of like making a 'Mega Egg'?

Surely it cant just be a difference in build quality as it is so much faster it is unreal. If it is then so be, but surely it has been played with?.

Is the paddle just spinning faster or is there a noticable feed rate difference?

The paddle is spinning faster and believe me you can hear the difference but also if you hold the hopper over a box or whatever it definately feeds faster compared to my nearly new z board egg.
