in which case, my point rests as the eclipse bodies cost them to buy in and then to mill, although i thought it was just the palmer's front end without the QEV's that you got, as this is the only front end I have seen on the stock halfblocks.

but hey, 'twas early in the morning :D :p

Dude,

You're just digging a deeper hole:rolleyes:

Eclipse buy the bodies in and mill them (very nicely too;) )

Racegun MAKE the bodies from scratch and then mill them (also very nicely:) )

I do think that simple economics state that buying a body in from WGP (who produce 000's) is going to be cheaper than making a body:rolleyes: :)

i'm not digging a deeper hole mate, WGP charge a premium for their bodies, because that is all someone needs to buy of them to make an autococker, so you're not buying judt the body, but the right to make a cocker too!

milling a new body doesn't cost too much, they just buy long, shaped 'bars' with holes drilled through them, they just cut them into the desired lengths, put in the internal passageways etc and do the cosmetic milling.

WGP must charge a good bit fopr their bodies, otherwise how could cocker clones (i.e non WGP body guns) like the system x cost so little compared to other cockers of similar peformance??
