WEDNESDAY UPDATE

It´s frikin FREEZING here guys. Bring warm everything. It´s way colder than the UK but that didn´t stop Dangerous Brian pushing me in the sea today :( The heating in the hotel is 5h1T and i currently have 5 layers of clothing on. Everyone in the bar either dances to the blue danube to keep warm or wears a scarf and coat. Playing cards is a popular option but you need gloves and brandy for that. We ventured out today and found a few shops open, tho most of the resort is closed. A few shops that sell T shirts, Knives and donkey / goat porn were open. I bought some t-shirts ;) But all is not lost. The entertainment tonite is a ´t-shirt party´...wtf is that? well you´ll have to wait till tomorrows breathtaking installment for that. Dinner tonite was no better than yesterday... a cross between butlins and school dinners. Cold stodgy and bland. But the booze is free so i´m surviving. Some Chavs turned up today too and we had a giggle with them, yes, that´s how bad it´s got! :D

Some important points:
If Easyjet tell you that paintball gear is not included in ´sporting equipment´for the extra 10kg of luggage allowance, tell them to get stuffed, it is! Ask them to check with their managers as we had hassle getting the extra 10kg each which could have meant 80 quid each way excess baggage if we hadn´t argued for 5 mins!

If coming into Barcelona airport and driving down, get your euros before you leave the airport as there is nowhere to change currency here. Also you need several euros for the many tolls en-route. Go to the ´manual´booth (far right of the tolls).
Directions
From Barcelona airport follow signs towards Barcelona until you reach a motorway called ´Ronda De Dalt´ Follow this road until you see signs for ´Girona AP7´ Follow AP7 to junction 12 (quite a way) then take sliproad towards Mataro. Then look out for ´C32 Girona´ (NOT C32 Barcelona which comes up first!) If you reach a roundabout near Mataro you have gone too far and need to double back on yourself and take the first sliproad off which is ´C-32 Girona´. Follow this road for quite a while until you see signs for Blanes or Lloret be Mar. Follow signs to Blanes or Lloret and then you will start to see signs for Tossa. The whole journey took us nearly 2 hours, but it was rush-hour.
See yáll soon :)

PS being out of season, the souvenir shops are desparate to do trade and will cut a bargain with you. Don´t forget to haggle!

THURSDAY UPDATE

Well the wind has dropped and a few more shops have opened! We escaped the bland butlins food and found a spanish restaurant...fajitas and nachos yummy!

The promised T-shirt party didn´t happen, probably due to lack of t-Shirts. I did dance tho, which cleared the floor of old folks going round in circles for a while ;)

Can´t wait 4 the weekend, yay!
