Right, This post is for any newbies looking to join a team or anyone In The herts Romford areas. I have spent a lot of time with my best mate trying to plan this and we are looking for 6 people With their own equipment, mainly Tippmann gear. We are looking at an SAS type theme and am already working on the team name, I know where to get some navy blue SAS Assault coveralls quite cheap, but combats will be used as well for woodland walk ons. Now The Important bit, We have somewhere to play as well, because my friend like myself works as a security officer and he spends from sunday morning to wednesday morning looking after a derelict warehouse in Romford, We call it the killing warehousebecause it is perfect for close quarter combat and hostage rescue scenarios etc and will be ideal practice for the RAF walk on in November. I am popping down there tomorrow and We are going to give it a good clean and I will take some good photos to post here. I have spent many weekends playing paintball with him in this warehouse and it is perfect. It has 2 main arenas, with multiple platforms and stages, It has over 100 offices, rooms and corridors and it really is scary playing in the dark.
The security contract for this site is forever really and I usually pop down there on sundays and mondays. The only thing is we do not have our own C02 supply or paintballs, but I always pop into lps before any game i have there. We are going to soon invest in getting a large supply of paintballs so people who come down will not need to worry about reloads. All that he asks is that you pay a £5 fee so that when we go he can clean up any of the mess afterwards. The money gained will go towards paintball supplies for future training like kit, balls and c02 costs. If anybody is interested or wants to know about the warehouse please send an email me at davejones390@hotmail.com, because I don't come on here much. This could be very interesting indeed as we may be usefull to the geese and other teams and vice versa especially when it comes to walk ons and other useful things. I will post some pictures on here tomorrow night after we have tidied up the place

if you read the thread properly you would have noticed that i specifically stated that people would need combats for walk ons or woodland games, The navy blue/black coveralls are for the warehouse or close quarter combat scenarios. You dont need to have the coveralls. It is up to you if you want them, I jsut said i knew where to get them cheap.

And herts is just north of london and about 8 miles east of Luton

Before you go any further, have you thought about insurance, liability, have you got permission from the owners. If anything went wrong and someone got seriously hurt the owners will be liable the security company will loose the contract etc etc. This is why there are proper places to play at.

Lets have a look at this from a different point of view.
1. No offence to your security guard mate, but how sure is he that NOBODY goes onto the site. I can tell you kids can pass any security guard in about two minutes flat, barbed wire or not. That makes it a not very secure site.
2. Anybody driving past or hearing noises call the police. They turn up and see a couple of you guys in BLUE BLOODY OVERALLS. The same as bank robbers. With masks. and effectively, as far as they are concerned, Guns. Their's fires faster than yours as well.
3. This is the STUPIDEST idea I've heard of in a long time. No insurance, legality or thought whatsoever. Give it up.

Coming from a police background my parents had a chat with the firearms office of the met before letting me get my marker and their view was any un-licensed playing area is a threat to the public.

If local police think your armed especially as you would be running around in blue coveralls and if you are carrying Tippman a5's you look excessively dodgy expect a not to social visit from your local armed response team

also coming from police backround, this is called civil tresspass, and you will be arrested by the land owner if you are cought, your mate will lose his job, you markers will be confescated under the disorder act, or even perhaps one of the many fire arms legistlations ? or you will get somoen very hurt as they fall of a gantry after the floor has got covered in paint, also having known people that reside in hereford the suits are not blue they are black ? police wear blue, but you will find that out when SO 13 come bursting into the wearhouse all masked up and one of your mates turns around with his marker and gets blown away by around 4 - 5 mp 5s ??????????????? this whole thing can be abbreviated in one sentance " BAD IDEA" or this has mistake written all over it mate ?
