i would say don't buy an ion, go for an sft shocker or pmr.
my first gat was an ion and i thought it was ok but quickly wanted an ego ect. but definetely try before you buy! and don't buy the 1st one that comes along look for a deal that suits you.
i think ions are destined for plastic knives and forks to be honest
