I have been called by the supplier who has offered to upgrade me to the BT Slice, from the Gryphon as it is a "better marker".
Any idea if I am being mugged off here? I'm not really keen on the look of the Slice in all honesty but I'd like to get an opinion from someone with experience.

My next question, It's going to start getting a bit more chilly in the UK if the past few days are anything to go by, if I wear a balaclava will that increase the chances of my e-Vents fogging?
If so what do you recommend?

TBH, wearing that would break the seal around the lense foam and technically that would lower the safety capabilities of the mask (ooo geeky!) So i would say, just stick to a beanie instead of Balaclava mate. you can pick a paintball company one of ebay cheap enough, or guys are always selling stuff like that on here cheap. Secondly are you just going to stick to woodsball or are you looking at tournament ever?

A balaclava or hood will increase the chances of fogging.
Anything under the goggles will affect the seal and again increase fogging.
If the goggle strap is ontop of anything then as mentioned above there is the potential safety of the strap being secure.

You could weara hoodie over goggles and remove if it causes a problem, but if you need anything more than a hat then its seriously cold

I've just found a pretty good deal on an Ego 11, I'm pretty taken with it but money will be tight over the next few months if I go for it.
Does anyone here have experience with the marker and be willing to tell me if they think it's worth it or not?
I'm using a BT4 at the moment so it'll be a huge step up.
