If the SLG is £20 cheaper when bought new, would that not be the logical choice? As you said, it's a better marker. I'm just concerned about how much I would need to spend on a decent hopper and tank.

NEW bottle, Steely = £50 ish
Fibre wrapped = £120+ (You will upgrade to one of these when you can)

NEW hopper around £40 - £100 depending on which you go for
