Also don't be afraid to ask to try out a different marker, it's better to try things before spending loads of money on upgrading equipment... Most players are friendly enough to loan stuff for a quick try on the range.

From the look of it by paying £25 green fee and bringing paint but still playing punter games
Find a walkon site and pay a similar price or less. You are saving on internet paint, but the site could offer you a better deal on their paint
If it's just you then they are going to be less inclined to bring in other grades of paint, and depending on your son you may prefer it at punter level.
The paint they are selling to punters isnt a high price paint, it's just the markup that puts the money into the site

Back in the day we would return to the same site and play punter games
Once we had run an event and were more involved in the site we also had our own rate.
It turned out that the marshalls staff discount rate was a higher price then we paid
But either way we paid the same amount for a day , cheaper paint and free entry meant we shot more

Delta force are the corporate biggy
I have heard of a Df site trying to run walkons but Df has no real interest in true walkons. They will cost them lost revenue
It's the first I've heard of police involvement but it's the site rules for site paint only (and this is the same for all punter paintball)
If you manage to use your own paint at delta force you've made some serious effort in smuggling

You don't take your own drinks to weatherspoons
