I'm in the same boat with this actually, except I'm in Essex.

Is there anywhere down south that hosts newbie days? Don't get me wrong I'll gladly come up to Manchester but I'm thinking of the car

There is a place called d7's mate they have a lot of people go down there and some players there will be happy to give you a hand.

...plus I believe some of the lesser known teams (Next'us - Tiggers etc) train there .

It's at Dartford btw - hence the name 'Dartford 7s' .
