If your going to be playing at sites and walk on days co2 is probably best. Most uk sites run on co2 and as far as i know all of them will have co2 some where on site. The best place to get your gun filled will be your local site just ask nicely and they will probably charge you a bit but its not gona cost much at all. I think the site i work at charges £3.

Laters and good luck man

mmmm

I would have to say (dont know much about spiders but, air rules) any walkon site that is any good will have air, and is costs you nothing (unless you go crazy and buy your own fill rig) plus the advantages of a good air system are many..... the only problem is your air system is probably going to cost more than your gun, doh.

If you fancy splashing some cash the classifieds on here are top dollar for kit, as you know that you are buying from guys/ or girls who have looked after there stuff.

Im not sayin that air is not good in the long run. Im just saying that co2 is cheaper and better for people who are just starting and may not be sure if they want to splash out huge amounts of money.

unfortunatley you can only get it filled at a site

there is also a new site opened up in newport an indoor site
which they will fill your bottle for you aswell

there is a web site for it but you will have to search for that as i don`t have it

Your local petrol station will not have the facilities you need. Firstly they won't have the correct connnections and secondly car tyres are inflated to about one tenth of the pressure you will need for a paintball marker, so their equipment just won't cope with it. By the time you get to the kind of pressures we need, you are talking about a potentially very dangerous process in filling a bottle.

The other place you could go would possibly be a dive shop if you have one locally as they deal with the same type of pressures as we need, but again they may not have the right type of connectors and may well charge a fair bit more for a fill than your local paintball site.

sorry to rain on ure parade liz but!!

these lads require co/2!

lads ure best bet is to just speak to your local site because not only can u fill up there but they will probably have a team or know of one so u could easily join a team if ure looking at doing that?

if not there's always local walk ons etc and rec ball days where they allow u to bring ure own markers.

i would also tell u to stick to co2 to begin with mainly because looking at the amount of money u guys spent on markers i am guessing u cannot afford air systems anyway ure looking at (150-200 pounds second hand or 300 plus brand new including bottle of course)
it does get very expensive but is like golf once u buy the equipment u just gotta pay the green fees then u can upgrade ure clubs etc when u have the money just practice first ok lads!
