I am considering buying my first marker.

I am looking to buy something second hand but I have no idea on whats a good brand (i was thinking ion or pmr)

I have a mask, paintball feeder, 3000psi air bottle.

I have used a vibe before, but want something a little more robust that i can upgrade.

Positive advice would be appreciated.

£100 is about the max i can afford.

hello mate. i may have a proto slg for sale and was looking for £100. i also noticed you were looking to go to campaign this weekend as am i so it is possible i could give it to you then.

I dont realy know what an slg feels like as i have never shot one.
Im hoping to get a marker by friday at the latest so i have enought time to go over it and get used to it before i play.

If i go i will have a look at your slg.

an slg will feel very similar to a pmr if you have ever held one of those. where abouts do you live as i dont mind meeting up if you are stuck for a marker!

i had a slg for my first marker, if you do decide to buy toonarmy's slg i would buy a clamping feedneck due to the fact that the standard feedneck can only hold certain hoppers

pmrs are nice but the SLG ultralite is your best option little bit more expensive at £180 but its worth it

thats why mine is a steal

its had maybe a couple of hoppers worth of paint through it and has no scratches. only thing missing is the manual and proto would ship this to ya. there is the original lube and spare kit still there, even the allen keys are in their original pack.

I have a halo b, would that fit?

Halos will fit, i found running a tiny bit of lube round the o ring in the feedneck will help as it can be quite a tight fit.

I have heard of players sanding back there feednecks, i take it i wouldnt need to with an slg if i remove the 0 ring?
