And it'll get you chucked off the paintball field, which solves all your problems, doesn't it? The only way to stop people cheating is to instill in them the ideas of honour and fair play, which you are clearly lacking.
Maybe paintball isn't the game for you, you should stick to Unreal.

Initially I wasn't going to respond to this thread 'cause I thought loads of other people would but only Darkwerks has so far, I'm slightly surprised at that.

OK lilfreighttrain, you obviously don't consider yourself to be a newby (though from other posts by you that's debatable). So think about how you were treated when you first started playing. The vast majority of experienced 'ballers will go out of their way to help newcomers and try to encourage them to continue playing. Just lighting up newbys rather than either trying to talk to them, or reporting them to the nearest judge for them to repremand them, isn't exactly going to encourage the newby to play again.

Sorry guys if this sounds a bit pompous, the original posting really got my back up a bit for some reason. Also, this guy has been registered for 1 day & 4 posts, and 2 of these were thread starters that really irritated me.

it really doesnt help the sport any to light up the newbies . If the player wipes talk to them after the game about it or call a judge . Also if they really are newbies this isnt a tournament this is a day where everyones trying to have fun so you should of course try to condemn cheating as always but theres no need to be an ass about it .

Well, he isn't the first person recently to start out posting rubbish, but with at least one other person recently after a couple of slappings down he settled & has stopped posting cr@p.
It's got to be worth a couple of posts to try to educate people, if only to stop them giving the sport a bad name!
Anyway, I'm not exactly overworked here today :) so reading the boards every hour or so keeps me awake.;)

I don't think anyone hit in the throat or crotch from 10-15 away or less is going to be playing on.
this is by far the most childish, assinine and downright dangerous thing I think I've ever seen on these boards. How can you possibly justify this?? Advising someone to deliberately inflict a dangerous and possibly life threatening injury in the course of a GAME is just plain stupid. Would you advise a soccer player to deliberately foul an opponent? A baseball player to throw the ball at another player?
At the end of the day, it's a game , there to be played and enjoyedby everyone. We have referees and marshals to ensure fair play. We should all be working to promote safety.
