i was wondering if u have to have a tank cover if your using air insted of co2

a tank cover is always a good thing to stop you getting scrapes and dints on your bottle, nearly everyone uses one on both air and co2

I find it feels more stable with a cover on anyways muchos prefer it to not having one

yeah me to, i like to use a cover or loc-soks as it sits in your sholder and wont move or slide out

Also, when the tank needs retesting any chips or nicks in the outer resin can cause it to fail, meaning you need to spend £££ on a new tank instead of £25-35 on a test.

I'd take issue with the wisdom of using a cover on a CO2 bottle, though, since that will not allow heat to reach the bottle. If you insulate it, the CO2 will have a harder time reaching the gun at a consistent rate as you shoot. If you were using a siphon tube, I guess it wouldn't matter, but few people do.

With out a cover the bottle will just slip and youl hit your head on your loader .

Don't forget that putting a bottle cover on will also 'pimp' your marker setup! Only if u're putting on a 'nice-looking' one though!
