They were going so well with COD 4, 5 surly cant be WW2?
Futuristic warfare would be cool IMO

Battlefield did the same with BF 2142 and that kinda blowed compared to BF 1942

Though if they could pull it off with the futuristic warfare then it will be an instant hit

Wonder what made Battlefield 2142 not as good as its predecessor

If COD can do the same but get the formula right then who knows, Game Of The Year perhaps?

battlefield is unmatched in my opinion. cod4 is awesome but lacks the multiplayer skills required for cod2. cod4 seems to be a nade fest with gaymores and n00blaunchers incase yer nades miss their target. cod2 maps (size wise) and cod4 gfx and gameplay would be unrivaled. cod5 aughto be vietnam...

best call of duty still to this day is cod1. pitty very few people play it now due to the more modern versions of the same thing. ive played with and against some of the best clans in england and currently playing for an online community ={DiVA}= for cod4 but the skills are definately lacking. please infinity ward sort it out p90 rocks by the way

COD2 was the dogs I reckon, never got to play the 1st one. COD3 was just an extension of numero 2 though, very boring after 5 minutes.

theres a game of the bourne series coming out on ps3 and 360. looks promising, apparently you can download the demo on xbox live NOW!

call of duty : world at war. is based in the pacific for the japanese part of world war 2. apparently (reading online reviews n shizzle) the fighting is much darker and gorey, the japs come on suicide missions with their swords out, they hide up trees and stalk you in the undergrowth. also utilises the cod4 engine which is definately a reason to preorder this when possible. only drawback i can see is that its being made by the people who made cod3 and that was a pile of pooh in my opinion. we'll have to wait and see though
