No worries Pete,
seems like he was on a mailing list that Syd passed out about updating his site. He just used all the email addresses from that list to contact people directly. (not a dig Syd, just seems like the guy is dodgy to copy everyones emails from a mailing list. Might be some way of stopping that though)
If I hear any more I will post it up :)
My bad. I meant to BCC the addresses, but made a mistake that I personally am embarassed about. I should know better and can only blame it on a minging head cold I've got at the moment. My apologies to everyone on that list.

This is the first I've heard of the guy using those email addresses for his own ends though and that is not a practice I am going to accept. Could someone forward his email to me (info@nspl.co.uk) so I can take a look at it and I will take the neccessary steps after I see it for myself?

Thanks Nige for bringing this to my attention.

OK,the more we find out, the more it stinks ...... I think people need to stay well away from this and also spread the word amongst yourselves to make sure nobody gets scammed here....

If they are up to no good, why do Just Paintball provide a link on their website? Some members will get confused here. I doubt Just paintball would have a weblink to a dodgy company.

I think he is just a punter day guy who is trying to make things sound good. If enough people pay the money then it looks like he "could" run it.(that arena thing does look good) Obviously he won’t get any teams entering and the "booked in " teams are blatantly fictitious .It’s a common business plan for punter sites to aim for something like this. Normally on a more local basis involving local companies(Asda V Tesco) for inter company tournies.Great money spinner for the site. I think this guy has got a little over excited and while it is painfully obvious to us that his idea will never work, he may not see it that way.

Edit

This is not a new thing.I got a link to this last year, from here again. The same details were on the site then .:) http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=106201

Their is no sign of any paintball related activities at either the road address or postcode. Cant see any netting or any signs about it (even when im right on top of where its meant to be) or anything at all to suggest it was ever there.
