Erm - have you checked a map lately? Brickett Wood was less than a mile from the M25 and Cobham was well under half a mile as the crow flies.

I dont think he was talking litrally as i have said in past its great tournament but its mostly located north of the m25 with the odd occasion its been situated down south, and in general the overall amount of tournaments in and around the south of london.

If you can give me a list of where they have been played you will see they have mostly been up the north of m25.

As i said one of the best tournaments around and i am not knocking it. And i even promote the tournament down at our site.

So far 2 north (Dunstable, Brickett Wood), 1 directly west (Reading) and one very slightly west of south (Cobham). One leg booked for later about as far east as you can go south of the river, one unconfirmed as yet. 2/4 not north, and at least 1/2 of the legs yet to be run not north.

Guys, dont turn this into a slanging match 'our tournaments better than yours!' :(

I think Webby's original point is that if you drew a straight line across England through Croydon, their are very few tournaments that can be found below it and to the East. I am not including SWPL, I'm talking Southern Surrey, Sussex and Kent. I bet if you live in Dover or Folkstone not having any thing on your doorstep must really start to get on your tits with all the added driving.

I want to take part in Wayne's event due mainly to location and the chance to introduce players who have no kit into his Rec division and get them away from punterland for the day. If more Tournaments/leagues offered this division I think it will enhance both Tournament ball (teams may carry on into high divs), Rec ball (teams drag more friends into the sport) and the Industry (Rec teams purchase own kit and move on).

And on the subject of entry, WEBBY, answer your e-mail! :D

Good luck to Wayne and his crew, he's taking a step in the right direction.

Waynes tournys are veryvery well organised, also isn't it better to have several tournys going on so that people outside of pball become more aware of this great sport.
Also as long the tournys don't clash then there should not be a problem!

about the venue???

no disrespect to wayne as i do not know him but i would like to know a few things b4 we(residue dogs) make a decision either way.

firstly will the venue be better than temple due to the fact that the last 5/6 tourneys just got worse and worse again not sure if wayne was still involved then???(ie piped fields covered in long grass)

second dont you think that sparklie knows all these things your saying but as she is based up towards reading etc and she put the feelers out to every baller she knew with great response is the reason she has done this league so the fact the venues have been a bit of a trek sometimes is irrelavent due to the standard of teams and quality of venue (lush grass, astroturf etc)

I give my full support to trina/sparklie but also to you wayne as if we did get a tourney venue of great quality with varying lay outs on the fields then i'm sure as the kevin costner movie field of dreams says BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME

and they will.

anyway enough talking gotta go make love to my sheep

see u all later

Sorry if i got my facts wrong but i have not bin following the m25 untill last month and the input i got was off several marshalls down my site but i will gladly put my 12 size foot up there rear.

And i also give my full support to trina/sparklie as what there trying to do can only but help paintball in the long run.

The venue it will be but it takes time i have seen the plans for what wayne intends to do and i can tell you it will be 100 times better than the temple but i have been sworn to Secrecy, but this will happen in time. The facilities are hell of a lot better.

No wayne had left the temple about a year and half ago and had no ties with the temple when it closed down.

the fields are being prepared no grass at the moment has been seeded but they will all be covered in wood mulch to begin with.
The fields are all tubeless except for one which is a center tube.

At each tournament the fields will change in layout the marshalling will be very strict each team will receive a list of rules and map on how to get there also a detailed map of field layout.

And as i said there will be a big cash tournament once a year as half of the profits will be going into a pot for that time.

there are over £1000.00 in prizes.

Any more info please call 07956066603 Ask for Karl or call
WAYNE on 01306888067.

And as i said not knocking the m25 as we will openly advertise them down our site it all helps.
