Sorry guys I could not resist it so i went out and got the first one in the uk and possibly the first in europe (so im told !)
First impressions are good it comes in a box with all the usual bits ie. barrel, tool kit, car charger, condom and it also comes complete with the large expansion chamber for getting good low pressure operation and even a short length of air line and 90 degree fitting. The manual that comes with it is on a cd.
The gun itself looks pretty good but one thing i noticed is that it has not got the external trigger adjusting wheels like in the picture on this thread and i have been informed that none of them will. The gun comes with most of the upgrades you would get for a speed already fitted ie twist lock feed neck, soft faced bolt, large expansion chamber and a flatter trigger than on the original speed which although not completely flat (being slightly curved at each end) works well once it has been adjusted.
When taking the grip frame off to adjust the trigger care must be taken not to pull on the eye ribbon as it does not have much play in it. The trigger can be adjusted much like any other speed with the two grub screws adjusting forward and backward play but the main difference of this trigger is once you adjust the backward play from inside the gun the frame can be put back on and the forward play grub screw is adjustable from outside of the gun which makes trigger set up easier in my opinion.
Cosmetically the gun is well finished with no marks on the anodising and for those of you worried about the backplate it is ok, it has euro angel at the top with a few stars around then right in the middle is a picture of the uk with the rest of europe over to the right partly covered by a large 'A' in a box (the angel logo)
On taking the marker out to the testing range (my back garden) I proceeded to put some paint through it (it was recommended that i put about 1000 shots through it to help the regs etc. bed in before putting on the expantion chamber and setting it up for low pressure operation.)
I was very impressed with the "eyes" on this as they seem to work flawlessly i tried ripping on the trigger with an egg 2 / z board first and although quite fast was not as fast as the old speed i had with sensi, but this is perhaps due to the better "ace" system sensing the gaps in the paint, or just me not reading all the manual before starting. I then switched over to a halo and "oh my god !" it was like a frozen rope coming out of the end of the barrel !
After putting about 4 or 5 hoppers through it at full speed with the egg and halo there was not even a hint of a chopped ball so i stuck on a 12v revy and without changing any settings proceeded to try and make it chop but it would not no matter how much i tried even putting a few balls in at a time and shaking the hopper a bit did not phase it .......very impressive !
The settings on the grip frame are slightly different with mode setting being just semi auto for the uk with none of the others ie 3 shot , full auto , being accessable. then dwell settings and eye settings (the eye is turned on when you turn on the gun and can be turned off by pulling and holding the trigger for a few seconds but if you want to turn it back on again you have to turn off the power and turn on again)
you then have three more settings underneath these which are loader, where you can set it to what speed of loader you are using, MROF (maximum rate of fire with eye turned off) and trigger which sets the debounce settings for the trigger
I have not yet tried it with the expansion chamber and have not adjusted any internal running pressures but so far i am impressed.
I hope to give it a good run out this Sunday so i will let you know how it performs.
