my friend just got one, and the thing rocks. the tippy is cheaper but the e99 shoots a lot faster.

will this b ur 1st gun? Don't know how much my opinion counts for, but if its ur 1st gun, get a pump. If it isn't, get a spyder EM1. I have an EM1 as a backup gun, n they dont get the credit they deserve. Never broken a paintball in it. Spyder stoped making em, so they're affordable 2. I heard Tippmanns are good, but I'd never buy 1, cuz it looks to much like a real gun. Looks don't matter too much, but if a company spends time improving the look of the gun, then they've probly put extra effort in other places too.
