some of the greatest paintballers are 'fags'.... but you'll have to guess which ones ;)

Seriously tough, i doubt this will affect anybody other than FL Charms... Does this mean pink guns and loaders will be banned next?

And does the Millennium Series plan to follow suit?

Pink (and orange) guns are OK until 1/1/05. They're banned after that date.

actually TonTons have been good boys (for a change) and modified their jersey design to incorporate red and yellow, but no orange. You may swear there's orange on their new jerseys, but there isn't. It's an illusion, red and yellow in close prosimity, and your mind fills in the difference making you swear you saw orange.

I'm still waiting for the Millennium Series to make up it's mind about the colors, hopefully they'll post them soon before teams go get new shirts printed for next season.

Orange and Apples

Isn't there another rule coming from the NPPL as well? The ban of PINK fills? SO if pink fill is banned, why ban PINK color?

Is there a connection there?

Some people (like myself) are trying to get the NPPL and Millennium 7-player rules harmonized and merged so that such matters are simplified and so that refs and players won't have any surprises when playing or reffing on either side of the Atlantic. The X Ball rules already prohibit orange and pink and so do PSP 5 & 10 rules.

I can only speculate since I'm not the rules commissioner but I would strongly suggest that any team playing Millennium next year not buy orange or pink clothing or equipment and not buy anything but opaque hoppers or hopper shells.

Pink fill in paintballs is the culprit right now because there doesn't seem to be any pink fill that doesn't stain (experts like Pipes please correct me if I'm wrong). One Millennium promoter lost a lot of money on staining paint at one event because an entire gym had to be repainted because a wall was shot with staining paint which I think was pink. But some PB manufacturer may come out with pink fill that doesn't stain thus another reason to keep pink as a protected color and so there is more than one protected color.

When all the players cease to have exposed pink or orange then there will be more incentive for players to buy only those color fills because they will be the ones that will mark the best. I believe NXL teams only use those colors in their fills.

could this be an early sign of the paintball world merging? Extremely long shot, but what if there were just one designated paint colour used in tournements, i.e. NPPL, NXL, EXL, milleniums etc. etc. and all tourneys promoting the sport all using yellow(just for example) fill paint. Would Be a very long time in the makin, and an extremely long shot at that, but from what i can see would avoid confusion and help even further promoting paintball to the non ballin' world as a professional sport. Haven't found any flaws yet, although sure i will think of an error later tonite:p , (if someone doesnt correct me first that is)
