How about a 'locakable top' to the stand (optional extra ;))?

Simply fits over marker/hopper and bottle - a sort of gun case if you like (only in aluminium or equiv.).

This then locks to the base.

Means the marker can't even be moved without unlocking - let alone have bits nicked.

Yes - it would be heavier - but it would deter/stop all butthe most determined of thieves.

Oh, and make it auto-lock - so no 'I forgot to lock it' threads appear ;).

Hmmm - maybe I should make these

I'll see what I can do, but it will cut down the compact portability immensely. Might be able to make some bits longer.... will see :D
Why don't we just stick anchor points to the bottle and hopper, then run a security cable all the way through the lot. Would only take 10 mins to get your marker off the stand ready for a match :D
RF tags are the way to go I reckon

There wasnt a huge interest and very little profit so i stopped after about 6 months, you may see a few of them around tho, they are a great stand, very, very durable and super-stable too. Fit perfectly into eclipse/Jt kit bags and when folded are pretty much the same size as the marker so can be stored next to it in the bag (no scratching either as they are covered in like a thick rubber)

even if it was slightly raised, then had some fabric between the metal sides, so the bottle dropped sort of into it and then, it'd fit any bottle, as smaller ones'd sink in further... do i ever make any sense??? :D :p
