Glen, I see what you're saying the angel shot counter records the 2 quickest shots in a string and works out the rof from that, for the shot counter to read 16 bps all it needs to see in the space of a seocnd is 2 shots 1/16th of a second apart.
Now whether or not the board knows there is an eye attached is a defferent matter, the board may still see the blocked trigger pulls and record them, hence the shot counter shows 16 bps.
The eye does sond like a great mod for the LCD as Glen, you are totally right, stick an angel up to 20 and watch it chop, to go through as much paint as you did with a mrof of 20 is cool

Hope the above all makes sense!

Actually I'm not sure he could, with the ACE off isn't the Eblade restricted to a certain BPS?
Apparently this was recorded over a chrono, I think morelikely is that he did see 20 on the chrono but the chrono was such that it records sound to calculate the bps, being a cocker it may well of recorded the back block noise as a shot thereby giving a more realistic rof of 10bps, easily attainable with a revvy.

Paul: I'm not sure about the E-Blade, but with the Intimidator if the Eye is disabled, the default is 13 bps...now the kicker is that if you go into Simulate mode, the eye shows as being active, but it's always told that everything is kosher, so the gun can cycle as fast as it's physically possible...ie simulating shooting a ball everytime. Now, I may be the luckiest guy in the world, but I've been searching for the best trigger setup, one that'll allow me to shoot about 15 bps consistently (I normally shoot about 8 bps in a game with a max of about 10-12 bps if I walk the trigger in a game) and I dropped in an old blade-style trigger, blindly adjusted the pull and accidentally ended up shooting 23 bps...imagine my surprise, and I of course attributed it to trigger bounce so I increased my debounce all the way up to 10, and I'm still shooting 18 bps if I walk the trigger and about 10 if I single finger it, so I'M NOT TOUCHING MY TRIGGER and hoping that it stays that way. What's sad is that an old teammate of mine makes his trigger as stiff as possible, and it's stock, and he still shoots 18 bps without even trying...and he uses his plain black Rev. in practice alot...mainly because he hates the door on his Egg. He doesn't normally shoot long strings, and I don't hear him skip very often and he doesn't complain about his Rev.

Yes, when you have a properly designed eye system, you can shoot the gun at it's fastest cycling speed 'cause when you do get that >>ONE<< slow ball, you don't chop. That's the whole design idea behind the WAS board and their claim of a max cycle speed of 36.

Yes, I constantly forget to make sure that my gun is in "Forced" mode and end up playing in "Simulate" mode...and I realize my mistake shortly after I start shooting...usually JUST as I'm about to actually hit someone...so yes, I'm a definite fan of anything with an eye, especially a paperweight like the LCD Angel :)
