An island in the rain
Does the mechanism leave the inside of the hopper susceptible to rain, dirt, mud, coins, fag ends etc from falling into the hopper or is it sealed in any way?

Remember Baca - y'all still have plenty of extremely muddy and wet events over there! :p

wont this 'invention' give problems when fully loading the hopper?
Surely when you fill the hopper up, the fingers wont all retract back to the supposed position, they'll get caught up between balls. If that happens, there'll be tons of spillage plus all the crap which will get in!

Depends if you stop shooting to reload; with this method there's no lid to mess around with so it's obviously a lot easier to whip a pot out and reload without having to stop shooting. Would just mean adjusting your approach to reloading.....if anything it will help people to hold their lanes better...

The fingers ain't fragile--they are, in all likelihood, tougher than you are and, no, there isn't tons of spillage under any circumstances. There is, on average, no spillage, except for those so careless as to miss the opening of the hopper when dumping their pots.

It wouldn't be very useful it was all the things you imagine and then, doh, nobody'd want one.

And yes, if it's raining stuff gets wet. I know, I know, that's never happened before. As for the rest of the possible horrors they aren't really a problem but that call will be up to anyone who may or may not decide they want one. Of course when everybody else is using it ... :)

lol, that was a bit childish, spesh for a mod  .
i dont see how they can be tough if they flex under the weight of a paintball, im presuming they are made out of polycarbonate or something similar which would bend out of shape quite easily at the sort of thickness you would need for it to giveway to a paintball.

no need to get offended, were just questioning the product like you would expect from people with not many facts at hand....
