new guns and drop forwards

Drop forwards! thats so old school stuff... I haven't seen someone using them for a couple long years I think!... bring back the drop forwards!

Actually, thinking about it there's an alternative

A kick up (or reversed to a kick down) does a similar but different job to drop forwards
It adjusts the Asa mount tipped at an angle

There were a few Gommie kick ups knocking about a couple of years ago, small, large, on rails etc, you could shout out for one on here but he had lost his workshop in a fire and is rebuilding

I think the main reason is to customize your gun to fit you or the way you play . The old days it was to run bigger bottles without the need for gorilla arms and get a better balance .
Someone said it raises your hopper profile but compared to the old RH feed with elbows and revolution loaders today's center feed, low profile feed necks I don't see it making to much difference .

For me it brings the gun to eye line more naturally and therefore quicker
