I Have a 2003 vert feed cocker that I've had for about 2 weeks and Im thinking about getting a new barrel for it. I just wanted to get some input on what would be the best barrel to buy. I want a better acuracy and my shots to drop a little less if possible. Im leaning toward a Dye Ultralight or Boomstick cus thats what I hear are the best. I'm also looking at at a J & J ceramic two piece. So if anyone could gimme some advice about this i would appreciate it.

Thanks
Chris

It all depends on paint to barrel bore match. If you shoot the same type of paint all the time you could match a barrel to that bore paint. The freak is the best way to go,start off with a couple of inserts & buy them over time as required to off set the cost of a full set.The best barrel with the correct size paint i find is a boomstick or a two peice armson barrel.:) :) :)

The freak is the best way to go mate, I have tried most of them.
I am running Eclipse cocker at the mo.....

(Please no one give me the crack of this marker that marker, I was at Planet in Dartford when the Sniper was King!!)

.....

In all honesty though, these barrels really are bang on. You won’t go far wrong mate.

Definately go for a barrel with different inserts to cater for different ball sizes.

There are several on the market at the moment. The 'Freak' system is the most popular and the one I use but Empire and 32 Degrees make them as well.

If you get one of the Dye barrels you will need three with different bore sizes which can get a bit expensive.

I got a 12" dye boomstick, cocker threads new 2 piece design 688. bore bought at campaign last year only used twice. Reason for sale is i found the 12" to short and i already own a JT 688 so no point in owning 2 barrels of same bore size.

60 quid to your door:D

I currently have a set of JT barrels and they are very sweet also looking to buy a Evil pipe barrel set.
