i think the problem with the COPS was that it was meant for an ideal situation, where the sensor would always be perfect and no balls would break,

but as we all know this isnt always the case, it only takes one dodgy ball that breach bursts, then the COPS sensor is getting paint rammed all over and around it by the bolt and that special 'paint drain' channel cut into it.

hence some of dynasty using LCD's with eyes and revi's right up 'til the end.

i for one am looking forward to having a go of one of these!

One things for sure, if they make the ACE set-up a retrofit item for Speeds and A4's WDP will make an absolute mint!

I wouldn't envy poor Frazer dealing with all the tech support for people who have drilled holes in the wrong places though!

What makes you think that you have to drill holes hmm?

If you take a look the ball detent has actually a big hole!! If I would be WDP I would try somehow to use that!!

I think you may find that the holes for an eye, would be central to the ball, rather than at the front of the ball as the detent is.

Sure a mirror could work but then there is allways the risk that the light would be reflected by the ball itself.

I would think that the holes would be drilled not completly centered but just abit closer to the bolt.

Looking at the pictures you can see that there are covers on both sides.
