For the regulators I will let another post an answer for that, Govnairs are ok as long as you remove the filter so it speeds up the fill and unfortunately to get a burst disk for them is nigh on impossible now :(
Bottles wise its up to you the CE are the latest test nothing other than that and HSE are still legal for the length of their design life (15 yrs) so as long as the HSE bottle is retested you are good to go. You shouldn't find a "new" HSE tank for sale as there was an anoucement a little while ago referring to trading standards about how an HSE tank is the "old" version so couldn't be sold as "new" but that aside you will pick up a HSE tank for less than a CE one as no one as yet will be selling on a used CE tank though the same can't be said for the HSE ones. Your choice and your wallet.

Hi Mate,

Well, there are plenty of good regs on the market but what are your priorities with it?

Looks?
Size?
Consistency?
Weight?
Low cost?

Your preference on these things determines what will best suit your needs, otherwise everyone will simply recommend their own personal favourite (based in turn upon their own priorities)...

in that case (and some of these are based upon opinions I have read and not 1st hand so take it with a tiny pinch of salt)...

Mac Dev Conquest 03 (www.macdev.net) - probabably the lightest and most consistent by all accounts but a bugger to get sorted in the UK, also none for sale 2nd hand as nobody will sell them!

Worr gas - get the new ones with self sealing gauges and nipples - good price, very light (2lb 12oz with 68 tank apparently) and compact, consistency is supposedly VERY good

Max Flo - I hate the look of them as they are quite bulky but they are very consistent - seen that first hand with my friends impy - 297, 295, 296 over the chrono

Of the three I would say go with the Worr, Planet stocks them so you can always take it in if there is a problem plus they are cheap brand new so perhaps you got get a shiny new one! :)

And then there's always the Angel AIR, looks the Dog B****cks but probably a little too expensive...

Hope that gives you some food for thought...

there's tons of preset air systems available, you don't need an adjustable system so why pay tons of ££ for something you don't need.
A preset generally weighs less too.
I have a nice centerflag preset, and Andy Piper is selling neato Evil ones, which are going for a resonable price.

An adjustable air system isn't going to make you a better player, but a few boxes of paint to practice with is going to get you moving in the right direction.

Remember don't buy max flo cause it's smart parts, and it's over priced.
