I have owned an Impy (tricked), IR3, Texas Storm Timmy and now own a Nexus series Ebladed cocker. From a personal perspective, all markers were good in their own way but for me I find it far more easier to shoot the Eblade quickly than the other marker I have tried.

I have had no reliability issues with it and it shoots straight (assuming the normal paint/barrel match criteria) I get 12 pots from a 1.1L tank and its as light as a really light thing.

Best thing is to try each before you buy - you will note that I play for a team sponsored by Planet Eclipse but I am being as objective as possible here :D

Not sure where you live but if you are in the Lincoln or Staffordshire area or ever come to the PA League then you are welcome to have a try of my Nexus.

If sp guns are such a pile of dog poo, can someone please explain the success of Strange, Philly, Dynasty etc shooting em????

Designers gun cheats, boards hack accusation etc, can be levied at all manufacturers, but the fact is that well setup SP guns are comparable with all over top end markers. You may have to spend money on upgrades, but at least you can build an Impulse to your personal specification, whether that be with ACE, LPRs, I-frames, Evolve Frames etc etc etc. The options and alternatives are almost endless. Not to mention the various body styles.

Try before you buy, and don't listen to all you hear and read on the internet. Find a gun that you like and use it. Just because some people don't agree with business ethics or morals of certain companies doesn't mean the products are poo (per-se). There's also dodgy, Cockers, Angels, Matrices, Timmies out there also, so there is no holy grail gun you must shoot. People who have 5% percent of the information generally do 95% of the shouting, although whether they're correct or not, I'm keeping schtum.........;)

i was looking into getting an 04 cocker as well, but to be honest, they're too expensive for my tastes for what they are. i don't buy into the open bolt blowback versus the closed bolt crap. good paint plus good barrel equals good accuracy. end of story. the autococker triggers take awhile to get used to as you can chop non-stop if you don't know how to handle them.so i won't shoot as fast as you can. plus the upgrades are expensive and to get a clamping feed neck you have to buy a new frame. it's ok for sponsored teams who have oodles of cash, but if you're not doing tournies it's a huge waste of money. i'd recommend the bushmaster bko, never used one, but i've done my homework, and they look good and perform good from what i've heard. plus it's only 280 dollars. and it's sold out on all the online stores i've checked out, so that's a good sign. honestly though, ask around and try to use one first if you can. and get something easy to fix, you may not want to send your gun halfway around the world to get a wierd problem fixed and high dollar guns are usually high maintainence, and going from a pirana to an angel is a huge step up. don't get a gun that is too complicated for you or you'll hate it, no matter how good it is.

I'm selling my older cocker again. It's lovely bit of kit with a mechanical trigger but it's still damn fast. The only reason i'm selling it is I have an E-blade Pro series and I need the money. I'll be at the next PA if you want to drule. Carmarthen Cougars team Capt the one with the beard looking lost. We also have a Dark Angel going so buy buy buy
