Hi first time posting here,
im planning on building a paintball crossbow (like the airowgun but a crossbow) for an A-level product design project and for my research i need to find out what the public thinks about this and what they would like from it e.g. a winch to cock the crossbow or what colours you (the public) would prefer etc

Thanks a lot for any help

How much of a draw are you talking on it? Bare in mind it has to throw he ball out at less than 300fps. But as close as possible.

Personally I'm a like green kind of guy in terms of colour schemes. Have a look at different gun manufactures for inspiration on colour schemes

i have have to look into the draw weight , i have seen people using 80lb draw weight on airowgun and getting decent 250fps
Thanks for the reply

I assume you have some background knowledge on cross bows?
I imagine it will take a bit more effort than one hand in the field to draw it. So in that case I would say think about a crank.

This seems a lot more to degree level than A level personally.

I have a pistol crossbow which is 80lbs draw, it uses a breakdown cocking system to draw, very easy and quick.
