if it goes down you take it to Planet which is I believe, in Manchester
or there are probably a load of people at tourneys who know how to tech/fix Ego's.
There isn't that much can go wrong with an ego really...

I think you can put an angel-air on any marker mate, as long as it's not an 06 ego which has an in-built rail I think? - so you wouldn't be able to mount it then.

However, angel air's are pretty heavy.
But on the upside they're adjustable so if I bought an ego I'd have to sell my LP but you can just adjust the angel air up.

If you're sponsored by Planet & they want you to buy an ego, then think whether you prefer their sponsorship or the angel. -If you don't want to part with it then go play for a team which shoots angels (plenty about, not to mention aftermath).
