The mini is a lot lighter.
If the 05 has stock board, then you will need a new board unless someone can flash the software to new rules.
Both are great markers, all down to personally preference.

The 05 has amazing efficiency, if taking a lot of paint on the field is your thing then I would go with that. It may be slightly older but I'm guessing there are a few people at NPF who can set it up for you.

If you like to travel light then probably the mini would be better.

Best advice is to try before you buy!

Ive shot both, and bias aside the mini is newer, lighter and shoots better (better software), has very good eyes and current customer support. Set up properly they will pretty much shoot the same, its down to weight and which one you prefer the feel of.

Have you tried either?

Personally never seen a working mini or angel so i cant say they shoot well..
But just holding the gun the mini is lighter and nicer to hold..

If your playing at NPF then i would get a Angel but at least a G7 Fly or a A1.
