I completely agree with obp, the JT aren't exactly the best build quality. Also, my personal advice is please don't go for an electronic marker as your first marker. They're a b#%ch to work on if you go for a cheap e-marker. GO for a quality mechanical like a Mag or even a used autococker. ON the subject of keeping up with the big boys, plenty of pros still use tricked out MECHANICAL autocockers. Both are reliable, upgradable, and great guns. However, before you purchase, I would strongly recomend you going to the store and trying them out with CO2/Air because not everyone can fire a Mag or an Autococker well.

If you get the chance to look at an electro blackdragun.. do so..

the JT 6 etc.. has a crusty as trigger etc... the marker may look nice.. but overall its just to slow(if you want a fast rof)

The dragon has afew aftermaket parts you can buy for it.. one of these is a solid metal trigger... (great upgrade)

overall the black dragon is a cheap marker for sure. but its well worth every cent... and your not paying for a stuped timer that talks to ya

Note" this is my opion on markers so dont get me wrong.. you might love the jt 6.0

my best advise is go to your local field.. and ask a few of ya local players to try out their marker.. explain to them you are looking to buy one. and ya never know.. ya might walk off the field with a cheap 2nd hand marker :)

also... i would sugest you keep away from the likes of the Cocker(great great god like marker) for the moment.. You dont need the hassles of Timing etc yet... its better to have alittle background etc.. before you get one of those babys. I say this as i have seen alot of new players in my club get autocockers etc... they work great for them.. then they fiddle... and then they hassle everyone to fix there marker right before a game... :/

Good luck and welcome to the big fun adrenalin packed world of paintball
