If you scroll down to the bottom of the forum you will notice a section with the main retailers on, you can choose from any of them really.

The only site i've ever brought from is JustPaintball, so they are the only people I can personally recommend, although I have heard good reviews from all of the main retailers.

If your looking for a good set of googles new, try here, http://www.lpspaintball.biz/acatalog/Goggles.html
Can range from £50-£85. See if you can try some on first, feel how comfortable to suit you.
Secondhand, expect to pay anything from £25-£50, but i do recommend you check the lens. I normally buy a new lens every few months, but that depends on how much you play. New lens cost anything from £20-£30.

Then set yourself a budget for a marker, hopper and bottle.
If you can afford it, then go for something a bit better than what people suggest as a starter marker. You can save yourself money buying right first time, and less hassle of having to sell the cheaper marker on and buying better second time round.

invert too is a good choice of hopper, for an air tank either buy new or used but if your only playing rental and aint firing quite that much go for a 3000psi 0.8L tank, can honestly pick these up in good nick for £25-30 second hand.

in terms of markers there are lots out there to do the job and yes SLG UL 09 is a great wee gun but no matter what marker you choose i can only suggest you buy used:

think of it like a car, you buy a car brand new for £20,000 but as soon as you drive it from the showroom its now worth nowhere near that, yet its still the exact same car.

find a gun in good nick second hand and you will be able to buy the fancier guns for a smaller price :)
