More like he doesn't like the guy who makes them, or the outlandish claims he makes.

I have a TurboRev in my revvy, and with a replacement paddle I'd say it feeds about the same as an X-board. It is nice that it doesn't spin endlessly when you're out of paint, and turns itself off after 15 minutes of inactivity, but on the downside it drains the batteries (slowly) even when turned off.

But if you ever wanted your hopper to play the tune from Close Encounters when you turn it on, get a TurboRev :D

I honestly thinks that WAS makes some very good and clever products. The guy is very good when it comes to electronics, there is no doubt about that. I wouldn't use an Intimidator without one of his boards. I wouldn't use a turbo rev (I have one sat here).

But I think he embelishes how his stuff works and tries to use science to baffle those who don't know better. But comes up short everytime someone else who knows the field 'calls him'. He uses long words and complicated terms when simple easy explanations would make more sense to the average 'paintballer'

He's also been caught out downright lieing and thinks he's the only one who can name drop and has done any testing in paintball... He tried to play me off against one of my friends saying that he was the one having done the testing... little did he know that guy had e-mailed me already to say that he hadn't...

If you are seriously bored and really want to read the last clash we had, and find out a lot more about the Turbo Rev you can find a long and boring thread HERE!

But I warned you... don't even start if you get bored easy :)

Note to myself - listen to prior warnings before reading a webpage with quotes like this.........

"the reason that this is said, is that the instructions can move 8 bits at a time. just dealing with the 8 least significant digits of the program counter limits you to within the first 256 memory locations. if you add a couple lines of code, you can get around this limitation by writing to the high bites of the program counter "
