Dont think anyone would critiscize Dynasty, after all, they swept the board last season, and i wouldnt bet against them doing the same this year. Just like the Preds used to do, winning 9 out of 10 tournaments in a season, and letting the other teams fight it out for the one tourney they didnt win.

You are right about one thing though........see you in Portugal

£10 says Dynasty win PRO, with the Russian Legion second....any takers?

What about x-ball?
I go with the Russians again, they have the experience.
No disrespect to the guys from all the other nations cup teams, but i think that the USA team of largely Dynasty and Strange will smoke everyone.......and they all have X ball experience....and mad skills.......

Anyway, come on England!!!!

I think it's refreshing to see a member of a top team like Dynasty post a comment like this. Not blaming it on the refs or the other team cheating, just acknowledging they got beat.

I don't know if I'd call losing one game a wake up call. But if it gets you more focused or helps you get fired up to play, more power to you.

no disrispect to the Dogs

I'm not saying that shooting E-Oracles made them better than you guys (whatever Planet may say...) but as one of the last few top teams to be shooting non-electros they must have felt at a bit of a disadvantage last season (I think they said as much in this months PGI). This is however turning into a thread-jack, maybe I shall post about this as a new string...

Look forward to watching you guys at Campaign this year

i think going from mechanical cockers to electros would make a big difference.
Right off the bat they can put twice as much paint in the air as before.
Basically they got good working with a handicap, and then when the handicap is lifted they rock everyone's world.
Kind of like high altitude training.

Hmm I doubt moving to electros was really that edge that was needed. With the orracles set up the way they were before one could still sling plenty enough paint to beat any team. People always put too much importance on electros. Mechanical cockers can shoot plenty enough. People forget that the Dogs, other than maybe Strange, have been easily THE most consistant team over the past few years. They kicked ass last year in AM, often simply losing one game in the finals to Trauma much in the same way Dynasty got 2nd place at LA. Trauma barely eeked into the semis by one point at WC while the Dogs dominated the whole way. They just choked whenever they had to play them. Anyways I think moving to electros has alot less to do with their success than everyone attributes it to. Congrats Dogs!

Electro Edge?

PGI: Last Year you didn't have electronic guns - did that hinder you much?

RK: It just depends on the fields. On small fields like the ones here it does, but on most of the big fields it's not too bad.
Interview with Rocky Knuth, PGI 168

So in the opinion of one of the top pros in paintball today shooting a mechanical marker is on some occasions a big hinderance and on others its "Not too bad"
