Nasty sticky tape suff- NEED HELP

whatever u do NEVER !!use anything with caustic soda in

that is unless you wanna strip the anno off

as djmatt mentioned i got some gunk off my marker with white spirit, the stuff you use to clean paint brushes, turps would prob do it too.....nail varnish remover would prob do it ok too.....lighter fuel or petrol would prob shift it too

as brian said already dont use anything with caustic soda in it!

ok, this ones easy, do u get WD40 in the USA? if u do, spray that all over the sticky stuff then rub with a dry, clean cloth, and Bobs yer uncle!!! (WD40 is like a de-ruster, kinda lube thing for metal so totally paint friendly)

i use lighter fluid u know the petrol type no prblem damaging the ano

Please note

White Spirit (Household paint stuff) and Paint thinners (Cellulose etc) are 2 completely different things, just be carefull what you get. I personally use Braek Cleaner, as it evaporates away, and leaves no residue of its own, for the likes of replacing jewel stickers, white sprit leaves the surface greasy, so the new one wont stick.
