n00b; There's so many sites in the South... how to find a good one?

Hmm.... Ambush seems to be getting some serious love.

I hear you about the Delta v. Skirmish site variation. I'm getting that from a few others I've spoke too... and of course, sites vary over time.

Thanks very much for this, folks - it's almost impossible finding this information any other way so I really appreciate the help. I'll give those sites a call this weekend and get a vibe for them.

I can't wait! :D

Only just spotted this. I actually work at the Delta Force in Romsey (well havnt for about a month or so but still technically work there). And the ringwood one.

Its a great day out and the marshals and manager will bend over backwards to help the punters. The marshals there are great and know exactly what they are doing, some even add mini games throughout the day to make it more fun.

Yes the prices are ridiculous, but its a great day out and its what got me into paintballing. I would highly recommend it for a day out, but take your bank card as you will spend more than you expect!

Any questions about it etc pm me.

10 Minutes from guildford
.

Down the road from me is Campaign Paintball and Delta force their both great sites. The food is nice and the marshalling is very good and they run through all the saftey briefing very furrally so nobody gets hurt!;)
The one downfall of these sites is the paint prices are very expensive and depending how trigger happy you are could leave you with a bit of a whole is the pocket. Location wise it is very practical because they are both around 5-10 minutes walk from Effingham juntion station but if not sure what road to go down when asking people what road is the paintball site down be sure to say which one you are going to because they might send you to the wrong one.

Hope you find a good place and have a good time :)

Another recommendation for Campaign here. ;) We are a busy site when others are having a tougher time so we must be doing something right.

Our prices are comparable to other sites in the area we certainly aren't the most expensive. Have a look on the website for more information www.campaignpaintball.com or give the office a ring.
