I wasn't saying that I would use team sponsored paint for rec ball...just that if we wanted to remain loyal to our paint sponsor and shoot their paint alone then we don't have that option. Also site paint is is of a lower standard than tourney paint too. But at the end of the day it's our choice if we play any particular event or not. I guess tourney players just arent used to site paint anymore!

If I remember correctly Warped site paint is WDP's Victory performance paint which is a good all weather paint, we use it as our "cold season" paint and it is performing well so far.
Like I previously stated Guppy, you don't have to use this paint. Collect it on the day and put it up for sale for say £35 and use your sponsors paint. Remember it's not a site paint only event. It's just that you are getting a box of paint with your entry fee to do with what you will. There is nothing stating that you must buy further paint from the site, but it is available

Here we go again.

IF IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE AND YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PLAY.

It's a simple choice, they are a business, all sites cost different amounts to run, so they want to make money? my god the b@stards, I suppose everyone else works for nowt. Funny really, go through the threads...... it appears that most ballers think the sites and tourneys are run as charities....... same things happening on the KOTH thread, Blakey has been accused of all sorts because of a £5 difference in price.
No one is forcing anyone to play, why the hell do we have to keep having this argument?
You've got two choices........ play and stop whining about the cost or don't play and be happy that you've made a stand.
Bloody communists.

:)

keep it constructive...... the air fills? that seems complicated and a fixed charge would be a lot better, H-pac are going to messing around with change all day and players are going to have to carry money....... a fixed charge would make more sense £4 or so? then you can get top-ups etc..... or maybe this has been done to discourage top-ups? with that many players H-pac could be swamped if everyone pumps up to 4500 every time they come in, even if they have 3500 or so left?

It's find the WOMD, scenario consists of 300 people wandering around for eight hours then going home dissapointed while the other team say "we bloody told you".
Additional teams are France saying "na ne na ne na na" and England who side with America because the French haven't. Honestly, even if Tony Blair knew there were no WOMD he could'nt side with the French. If America invaded England and the French aliied with us, I'd switch to the US.

Oh, and whats the deal with camping - do we have to pre-pay, book or...?
Nearly 6000 m8
I took 3 boxes with me and came back with not a lot if any.
But then as Captian of one of the Black Special Operation units at the forefront of many battles having enough paint was essential

I know some paid on the gate last year

Note this time the North have got the front base so its a short walk for us this time, he he

Parksy Big Game 2K5
Air Fills

Hi Guys, can i say something here, Air has been the same price at the last two NvS events and there has been no problems, just ask guys at H-PAC, however i do think they do a £5.00 unlimited fills on the day, i will find this out for you.

As for paint, whatever paint we go with this year it wont be crap and lets get this straight right from the start, do you think after nearly five months of hard work to get the whole event right and this is the time it takes to get it right, iam going to put trash paint on the site, so everyone can have a big pop at me on the day and get all pissed off and not attend 2k5( I dont think so, do you? ) its my job to give you guys the best day ever and thats whay iam trying to do.

Regards
Paul Parkes

Can I just add my 2p worth here.Parksey has been getting a lot of stick here about the price of this game.If you take away the cost of the box of paint, that leaves a game fee of £25...even if you get 10 fills at a quid each, that's still the same price as Star Wars was.....I don't remember anyone complaining there. As long as the paint is decent, what's the problem...saves having to carry a box each to the game.

And before anyone asks,no I have no connection with Warped or running this game.
