My uncle is looking for a new marker...

He is a cocker guy and hes been eyeing the planet eclipse nexus cocker withe e 2 for some time...some of my friends agree with with him that its a good buy but i dont know that much about cockers so i cant really give my opinion + i've been out of the paintball loop for about a year and i'm just getting back ing the mix ..... what do you think about the marker ?

If your Uncle likes Cockers, he obviously knows why he likes them..does he have a Mech Cocker at the mo? Any Planet E-Blade will be fine...By all means get him to try an Angel as well, I dont rate the older ones, but the A4 is very good...I however shoot an E-Blade, and dont have any problems, it can shoot faster than anyone can pull the trigger, so all you have to worry about is feeding it...ideally a V35 HALO, or a Z-Eggy (i have both) would be good..also...the Angels have the tendency to wide groups at High ROF, where as, an E-Cocker, will have smaller groups, IMHO.

dude, tractor boy owns one! and shoots one every week! same hear, i tried out tom allens angel 4 fly! and simply forget the cocker and buy one of those, u will see a HUGE!!!! difference!

Bloody fanboys......Suicide & mctractorboy, when's the big day?

The EBlade is awesome, simple as that. Even more so with the E2 and a Nexus. Although I have been warming to the new angels (hated the old LED-IR3 generation), I don't think an angel will EVER make you grin like a well set up eblade does. There is just something about the moving back block, the sound and the great groupings as long range that just makes you all warm and fuzzy inside

In my experience it's been very hard to get cocker lovers to move across to angels. Angels are a bit too much of a box with a handle, what's kick-ass about the cocker is you can really see it firing and what is going on. If your uncle loves cockers then i think it would be wise for him to stick with 'em...but of course the old adage of 'try everything else and see what you prefer' is of course still applicable.

mctractorboy happens to be one of my best mates, and team mates, and we both seem to like angels! infact 4 of the 5 in the team we play in like angels sept howard who is obsessed with cockers! ARRGH! cockers suck, go for the user friendly angel! and if skyhawk is look, no, we dont like impulses!
