They offer, IMHO, a great service to people like me and at usually much cheaper prices.
I know rules are rules - but I save a lot of time/hassle/money etc using their services.
Plus, Id' rather buy off them (as I trust them) than someone I've never heard of before.

But basically it's down to being sensible. When Skeet first started up he was (by his own admission) a little over zealous in his "promotion". However, now we have an understanding that he doesn't spam the forums and we'll let him get on with things behind the scenes because exactly as you say there are some people that do use his (and others) services.
In this case the mass listings of gear someone has imported is different, it's basically advertising and just as B3 says, buy a banner. Otherwise should Gizmos come on here and do a listing of everything they have in stock? How would Planet, LIPS, Just or our other advertisers feel about that. We have to protect their interests as well as ours, it's about walking that line, and these sorts of mass listing cross it.
