A lot of great advice, thank you so much :D

I will ask the UK retailers for the PDD edition, or the Carbon one that looks even better :D
I know that importing something from the USA can be expensive and frustrating, I've already imported some motorcycle parts... But like in the bikers world, when you spend a considerable amount of cash on your hobby, you want it to look they way you like, so I will go for one of these editions, even if at the end I pay a bit more.

I will pick the remote and harness for req games, and use the tank attached to the marker for speedball as you advice, it makes sense.

The problem with the goggles (and also protections and cloths) is that I do not know any local store to go and test!!! If you know anything not too far from Milton Keynes will be awesome.

Tank, I will stick with a 68ci one, and probably add a 48 one if I finish playing on the front position.

I think I didn't forgot anything!

The Axe that is on sale in the classifieds forum looks awesome, a pity I still can't post/answer there.

Thanks a lot guys! I will be updating this post with the items that arrive :)

A standard axe is also great! I have the special edition blue/silver and its great. Ive now upgraded it with a xsv bolt and a freak kit, so its pretty much the same as the pdd. But it shot great before all of these upgrade. Now Ive only been playing a few months, ive relised that other markers shoot differently and slightly better, but cost more. No doubt the axe is a great marker, but eventually ill upgrade to something better. My advice is to try before you buy as all markers shoot differently, feel different and priced different. Think into he future abit and if ur happy that ur gonna keep it for a few years then go ahead, but just my opinion now ive been in the game a few months...

LiPS are located in Welwyn Garden City. Not too far, especially on a bike with weather like this :)

Jon and Chris are nice guys there too.

Hi Ballantin,

I think you've put yourself a good budget - however I can not recommend enough to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. Markers come down to personal preference and this is not just shooting it a few times, but using it for a few hours. Before buying a marker, get on a field with a few people (normally you will find people with a few spare markers and different hoppers) and you can try them. We lend out kit regularly exactly for that reason ... you wouldn't just buy a bike without giving it a spin first either. :)

Hi Stigma!

You are right, the best is to try before you buy, but well, I have little experience with markers and was some time ago, so I think going for one of certain quality, that fits into my budget and that looks good is enough for me now. Later one, maybe I will be looking for another marker, who knows :)

I got all the stuff already ordered, hope I didn't forgot anything!
